The Front End Challenge: win £150

Good front-end work is quiet. When an interface feels effortless, it is because someone obsessed over every pixel, every state, every transition, so you never had to think about it. That kind of craft is hard to show on a CV, and it is exactly the talent we want to find.

The best design work rarely gets seen

Designers and front-end developers build the things people use every day, and most of it never gets shown off. It sits inside a client's product, or in a folder of old Figma files, and later it gets judged by a line on a CV instead of the work itself. We think that is backwards. The work should speak first.

So we are giving that work a stage

The Front End Challenge is a design and build challenge run by Vaultt. You upload the best interface you have designed or built, other people on Vaultt get to see it, and our judges look at every entry and pick their favourites. There is £150 in cash prizes.

Who can enter

Everyone. Students, graduates, self-taught, career-changers, and people doing this professionally. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to say yes before you enter.

What can I upload?

An interface you designed, built, or both. It does not have to be new. If you made something two years ago and still like it, enter that. Some things that work well:

• A Figma file or prototype
• A design system: components, tokens, and the rules behind them
• A site or app you built
• A component library
• A redesign of something that annoyed you
• A single screen, done properly
